Thursday, March 23 kicks off a series of FWC statewide snook workshops adopting a holistic approach for snook management that includes reviewing environmental and human factors like habitat, fishing effort and feedback to evaluate the fishery on a more local scale.

FWC is proposing 10 new management regions with snook regulations based on the status of the fishery in each region. The public is encouraged to attend one of the FWC's in-person workshops that are being held throughout the state. All workshops will run from 6 PM to 8 PM.
